Principle’s Report
o Author Peter Lerangis of the
popular book series 39 Clues will be visiting grades 3-5 March 15th.
o Mrs. Brine’s Class – almost 40
kids caught reading during the month of Feb.
o Enrichment Funds – will be
going to the purchasing of Kindles, RAZ kids and Accelorated Reading program,
as well as, Leapfrog Tags for grades K-1.
o WKCE Results will be sent
home with report cards. Grades 3-5
falling into the 88-91 percentile for Math and Reading. Great Work!
o SMART Goal – By May 2012 90%
of Hudson Prairie Students will be reading independently at or above grade
level on the DRA or Fountas Pinnell Assessment.
Currently we are on track at 52% of our students at or above grade
level.
